The Manitowoc Legion baseball team scored five runs in the first five innings and held off a late rally in earning a road win over the Green Bay Blue Jays 6-5 on Saturday.

Manitowoc (8-10) scored a pair in the third inning, three in the fourth and one in the fifth while Green Bay managed to score one in the third before going off for a four-run fifth.

Offensively, Manitowoc was led by Cole Wimmer who was 2-for-3 with a double and Brady Ferry who was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Also for Manitowoc, which netted six hits in the game, Travis DuPont was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Green Bay collected nine hits in the game.

Jordan Witczak started and earned the win, pitching four innings and allowing four earned runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts. BJ Anderson pitched three innings of relief for Manitowoc, allowing one earned run on four hits and two walks with one strikeout.
