The Maysville boys and Zanesville girls picked up victories in a South Central Ohio Conference bowling match Thursday at All-Star Lanes.
The Maysville boys (3-0 SCOC) beat Zanesville 2,308-2,205 as Parker Bash rolled a 224-435; Walker Stalnaker a 215-416 and Aaron Chappelear a 229 game. The Panthers had Baker games of 235 and 175.
The Blue Devils, which had Baker games of 171 and 166, was led by Bradley Wilson with a 258-455; Matt Devoll with a 211-414 and Scott Gifford a 214 game.
The Zanesville girls picked up a 2,023-1,741 win behind Erika Savage’s 220-380, Tamaira Hina’s 183-361 and Patsy Tyo’s 187-337. The Lady Devils had Baker games of 156 and 198.
Maysville (2-1) was led by Kaleigh Bennett with a 191-349; Jenna Brooks with a 191-324 and Haley Pettit with a 173 game. The Panthers had Baker games of 134 and 154.
Maysville also won the boys reserve match 2,125-1,761. Tanner Stackhouse rolled a 232-451, Sky Clark a 223-435 and Drue Blanton a 196 game. The Panthers had Baker games of 141 and 147.
Zanesville was paced by Isaiah Bell with a 196-375 and Blake Snyder with a 192-349. The Blue Devils had Baker games of 142 and 117.
There also was a mixed reserve match for first-year bowlers. Maysville featured Tyler Stutes with a 191-367; Tristan Murphy with a 201-364 and Tanner Nicholson with a 194 game. Zanesville was led by Kayla Dodson with a 161-295 and Shaniya Stalnaker with a 114-225.
