MONROE — Monroe’s Thomas West scored from one yard out with just 30 seconds to play and Nathan Daniels ran in the game-winning two-point conversion to give Monroe a victory over Sexton Friday night.

Quarterback Malick Mack led Sexton with 363 yards passing and three touchdowns. Javon Cooney had four catches for 186 yards and three scores for the Big Reds.

Jesse Lathan’s 25 carries for 236 yards led a Monroe offense that relied heavily on rushing.
