The Mishicot girls basketball team lost a tight battle against Olympian Conference foe Wrightstown at home on Monday 53-46.

The Indians kept with the Tigers all game, entering halftime deadlocked at 30-30 and trailed 39-38 entering the fourth before Wrightstown (3-1, 2-1 OC) pulled away.

Morgan Melichar paced Mishicot (0-5, 0-3) with 17 points while teammate Nicole Meissner added 10 of her own. The duo gave the Tigers fits all game before each fouling out down the stretch.

Melichar would hit a game-high four 3-pointers as Mishicot made six 3’s to Wrightstown’s one.
