WEST DES MOINES, Ia. – Marshalltown topped the third-ranked Tigers in the first game by scoring four unearned runs.
Laney Abrahamson ripped two home runs in the second game to lead Valley (20-5). Two other Tigers also hit homers — Kaye Taylor a two-run shot and Ally Swartz a solo shot.
Lauren Mazour hit a home run for Marshalltown (9-15).

URBANDALE, Ia. – A walk-off double by Dani Major squeaked the first game out for the J-Hawks behind Emily Munyon’s pitching effort.
Southeast Polk responded for the split with a six-run first inning and a Hannah Parker home run in the fourth.

Janie Smith hit a grand slam in the fifth inning of East’s second victory over host Hoover.

WAUKEE, Ia. – A two-hit shutout by pitcher Kylie Mickelson won the first game for Waukee, and Morgan Hoeg’s 4-for-4 effort with four RBIs in game two sealed the sweep.
Johnston 11-0, Ankeny 7-5
ANKENY, Ia. – Abbey Wilmes led Johnston in game one, hitting two home runs and winning on the mound to give No. 1 Ankeny its fourth loss of the season.
The Hawkettes threw Shayla Starkenburg in game two, shutting down a Johnston offense that had 15 hits in the previous game.

MADRID, Ia. – Van Meter tied its all-time wins mark at 26 with Monday’s road victory. The No. 4 Bulldogs had six players with at least two hits in the game.

WEST DES MOINES, Ia. – McKenzie Ellis hit a two-run homer for Indianola in the first game that was the difference. In game two, Dowling was down 5-1 and rallied with a five-run sixth inning, tying the game on a home run by Jessica Bastian.

FORT DODGE, Ia. – Will Gormally of the Dodgers had a winning pitching performance and a two-run home run in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader with visiting Mason City.
WEST DES MOINES, Ia. – Jake Pauley, Austin Stephens and Jake Plath all hit two-run homers in Valley’s double-header against Marshalltown.
Southeast Polk 1-3
URBANDALE, Ia. – Urbandale’s Ty Sharon hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to break up a 1-1 tie in the first game, and Colby Bragdon followed with another two-run shot.
In the second game, Brock Daniels drove in the winning run and went 2-for-3 for Southeast Polk. Alex Simon was also 2-for-3.
Roosevelt 13-4, Lincoln 0-0
The Roughriders ended game one in the fifth inning, as pitcher Luke Tasler allowed just one Lincoln hit.
In game two, senior Lou Bassman held the Railsplitters to four hits in another shutout.
Dowling 4-5, Indianola 2-1
WEST DES MOINES, Ia. – Dowling pitchers Joe Erickson and Grant Otte threw complete games against the Indians, striking out 15 batters for the second sweep of Indianola this season.
