Monmouth head coach Jason Morrell enters his second season as the Falcons head coach. After a tough 1-9 season , the Falcons will look to improve as they move from Class B North to Class A Central.
Q: Who are you looking forward to seeing the most on the offensive side of the ball for you guys?
A: Jeff Farrah at quarterback is a very talented player. We have Sheldon McCue at wide reciever and a couple of talented senior backs who should do well for us this year. If we bring our offensive line along we should be good on the offensive side of the ball.
Q: What side of the ball are you most confident in this season?
A: Our special teams and defense have looked good so far this summer. From the special teams standpoint, coach Dan Wendel has done a great job getting them ready.
Q: After this summer’s camp, what are some of the improvements this team needs to make prior to the season?
A: I think our sense of urgency has come a long way since the beginning of camp. The guys really come out day in and day out with no excuses, and that is how we are going to get better as a team.
