The Wildcats (3-10-3) were ahead 5-2 at halftime and held on for a 6-4 nonleague win against Central Crossing. Shannon Loftus had four goals in the victory for Newark.
Mary Kluisza and Meghan Roche each scored and Melanie McDonald had 13 saves in goal for the Wildcats.
