Rachel Christopherson scored 12 points but a cold third quarter sunk the Oshkosh West girls basketball team in a 48-34 loss to Pewaukee in the second game of the Brookfield Central tournament on Saturday.

The Wildcats (0-2) trailed just 19-18 at halftime but were outscored 20-6 in the third quarter as Pewaukee pulled away for the win.

Marissa Edwards added seven points for West, which was playing without its top returning scorer from last year in Deidra Unger.
