The Pingry School boys and Montgomery High School girls soccer teams were awarded the top seeds for their respective Somerset County Tournaments Tuesday evening during a meeting of coaches at Ridge High School.
The Bridgewater-Raritan boys and Montgomery girls are the defending champions.
The top four seeds receive a double-bye into the quarterfinals, while the No. 5-No.8 seeds get a first-round bye.
The tournament begins Saturday with first-round games, with the second round slated for Oct. 6.
The quarterfinals are scheduled for Oct. 13 with the semifinals Oct. 20.
The finals will be held Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. (girls) and 3 p.m. (boys) at Manville High School.

Girls Soccer
Montgomery 8, North Hunterdon 1: Freshman Marisa Kowalski tallied four goals and an assist while junior Colby Ciarocca added three goals and an assist as Montgomery (6-1-1) rolled. Junior Katherine Campbell buried a free kick for North Hunterdon (3-3).
Bound Brook 6, South River 0: Christine Mayorga recorded a hat trick and Kailin Horsburgh added two goals to power Bound Brook. Maria Arevalo notched two assists and stopped five shots for the Crusaders (5-3).
Somreset Tech 9, Hudson School 1: Ariel Conner had two goals and two assists and Harleen Singh had two goals and one assist to lead Somerset Tech (2-6). Julia Heller (2), Emily Molfetta (1) and freshmen Victoria Shahinian and junior Emma Rodelius (one goal each) also scored. Freshman goalie Kaycie Sconda made one save to earn her first varsity win.
Edison 6, Plainfield 0: Plainfield, which mustered only six shots, fell to 4-3.
Boys Soccer
Scotch Plains-Fanwood 5, Union 1: Colin Stripling and Jassiem Wahtuse had 2 goals apice for the Raiders (7-0-1), ranked No. 1 in the Courier News Top 10.
Bernards 2, Madison 0: Braden Canavan and Sammy Fazel scored on goal each and Dylan Kahn had six saves for Bernards (4-1-1).
