Tampa, Florida — Coming off a state championship last year, the Plant High School football team was at it again Monday when Senior Safety Paris Bostick announced his college selection.
The 6’1 senior had narrowed it down to Arkansas and Georgia, but today, he declared he was taking his talents to Athens, Georgia, to play for the Bulldogs next season.

By Bostick announcing his college choice ahead of his senior season, Head Coach Robert Weiner said it will allow Bostick to focus on the task at hand–defending their state championship.
Heading into the 2012 football season, Bostick is ranked the 35th best safety in the nation by Scout.com and 39th by Rivals.com. Regardless of where you rank him, he’s anticipated to help improve the Georgia football team.
Bostick said he ultimately chose the University of Georgia because of the family atmosphere on their football team as well as the stellar academic reputation. Bostick also said that he would be willing to play offense if he was called upon.
