The Kiel baseball team dropped a pair of road games to Plymouth on Monday, falling in Game 1, 9-3, and losing Game 2, 4-3.

In Game 1, Kiel trailed 3-1 in the sixth inning when it allowed Plymouth to score six runs to put the game out of reach.

Tyler Konz started and took the loss, throwing six innings and allowing four earned runs on eight hits and four walks with a pair of strikeouts. The Raiders committed three errors in the game.

Offensively, Kiel (4-13, 3-10 Eastern Wisconsin Conference) was led by Jacob Winkel and Konz, who each went 1-for-3 as the team collected four hits total. Winkel, Brad Jaeger and Terren Driscoll each had runs for the Raiders while Nathan Pieper, Jordan Meyer and Nathan Voitek had one RBI each.

In Game 2, Plymouth scored three runs in the first and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth.

Each team had nine hits in the game, with Winkel going 2-for-3 with one run and three RBI and Konz going 2-for-4 with two runs. Pieper, David Esswein, Jaeger, Meyer and Tanner Woepse each had one hit.

Meyer started and took the loss, throwing seven 1/3 innings and allowing four earned runs on nine hits with four walks and 10 strikeouts.
