Jared Muench scored a team-high 14 points as the Manitowoc Lutheran boys basketball team defeated visiting Winnebago Lutheran 52-49 on Tuesday night.
Adam Schwede backed up his teammate and fellow Lancer Muench by adding 10 points of his own while teammate Garrett Buch was also close behind with nine.

Manitowoc held a narrow 12-10 lead after the first frame and Winnebago chipped it into a 27-26 deficit entering halftime.
In the third quarter, Manitowoc would outscore Winnebago 9-5 for the largest margin of separation in any quarter in the game.
The Lancers also were without Buch in the closing moments of the game as he followed out in the fourth quarter, but Manitowoc was able to prevail despite being edged in the final frame 18-16.
In total, seven players for Manitowoc would find their way onto the scorers sheet, with six of those seven scoring at least five points.
Manitowoc next travels to take on Hilbert on Nov. 27.
