A battle of Olympian Conference foes turned into a rout with the Roncalli boys basketball team, led by Nate Lassila’s game-high 32 points, defeating host Manitowoc Lutheran 79-39 on Tuesday.

The Jets jumped out to a 24-13 lead after the first quarter and held a commanding 44-25 advantage heading into halftime and never looked back.

Lutheran was led by Jared Muench’s team-high 12 points including two 3-pointers.

For Roncalli, Nick Stelzer joined teammate Lassila in double figures with 15 points. The duo combined for six 3-pointers, four from Lassila and a pair from Stelzer.
