Tyler Fox of Okemos, a senior at Cranbrook-Kingswood High School in Bloomfield Hills, was awarded all league honors in soccer and named to the all-academic team, which recognizes the top scholar athlete from each team in the conference with the highest grade-point average.

The Cranes, coached by former MSU captain Chad O’Kulich, won their league and then defeated defending Division 2 state champion Auburn Hills Avondale in double overtime to capture a district title.

Cranbrook then won its regional before losing 3-1 in a state semifinal on Wednesday to a Petoskey team that sidelined East Lansing in its regional final.

Tyler is the son of Anita Fox and the late Mark Fox of Okemos.
