A pair of receivers who helped DeWitt repeat as CAAC Red champions and advance to a Division 3 state semifinal have verbally committed to play football for NCAA Division II schools in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Ryan Anderson, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound Division 3-4 all-state and Lansing State Journal Dream Team selection, has picked Saginaw Valley State. Andrew Clements, a Class A all-area pick, chose Grand Valley State.

Anderson caught 68 passes for 1,092 yards and 14 touchdowns for an average of 16.1 yards per catch in addition to punting 50 times for an average of 39.8 yards per punt with four touchbacks and 14 punts inside the 20.

Clements caught 38 passes for 520 yards and six TDs.
