DEWITT — Jacob Heath passed for 300 yards and four touchdowns to lead DeWitt to a 28-27 victory over rival Haslett in CAAC Red football action on Friday night.Ryan Anderson caught six passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Noah Evans had 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers (3-1). Riley Graham finished with 23 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown for the Haslett (1-3). Connor Brewer added 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Jackson — Charlotte went into their game against Jackson Lumen Christi as co-favorites with the Titans to win the CAAC Gold, but left with a disappointing 42-14 loss on Friday night.

Oriole quarterback Ryan Bartolacci led the team in rushing with 38 yards on seven carries, even though he left the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury and would not return.

Charlotte (2-2 overall, 2-1 CAAC Gold) turned the ball over five times in the game, including three interceptions, two of inside the Lumen 15 yard line that killed potential scoring drives.

Bartolacci threw one touchdown pass, a 14-yarder to Zach Telfor in the first quarter, and backup Alex Stenberg threw another, to Blane Heisler from 17 yards out in the fourth for Charlotte’s only scores.
