PREGAME ROUTINE

“I’m usually the last one to come out of the little tunnel when we go through it and the signs that the cheerleaders make. And I usually don’t go in the middle when we break it down. I’ve been doing that since my freshman year, so I just do it all the time.”

I’D LIKE TO BE LIKE

“I’d probably say Chris Johnson. He’s a speed back, but he’s not scared to run downhill.”

WHY FOOTBALL?

“I started playing when I was about 4 years old. I just liked watching it and it seemed fun, so I started playing.”

FAVORITE TEAMMATE

“I’m cool with everyone on the team, but the one that I talk to most is D’Andre Ferby. We used to play on the same AAU (basketball) team when we were in about sixth grade. We’re both from Rutherford County, so we know each other pretty well.”

SHOE PREFERENCE

“I love Nike. Nike — it looks good, and they have a lot of different varieties of choices.”

SATURDAY’S OPPONENT

“I heard (Lexington Catholic) is a good school, a good tradition. They have a good quarterback, and I know Kentucky takes their football seriously. Everybody is fired up that we get to play on national TV (ESPNU), and that should just be fun.”
