Tied 9-9 after the first quarter and 19-19 at halftime, the Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team outscored host Stevens Point 15-8 in the third quarter en route to a 47-37 win on the final day of the three-day Sentry Classic Basketball Tournament in Stevens Point.
Lincoln was led by Alyssa Grotegut and Kali Hackmann who each scored 14 points.
Also for the Ships, Alyssa Fischer and Shawny Gabriel each added eight points.
Hackmann and Fischer were each named first team All-Tournament while Hackmann was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
Lincoln was 14-of-19 from the free-throw line while Stevens Point shot just 3-of-9.
