Lansing Catholic junior Jacqueline Setas fired a hole in one on the 14th hole at Groesbeck last Thursday during a match with Stockbridge.
“She was putting for a 29 and shot 30,” Lansing Catholic coach Mary Schafer said. “(Senior) Janie Fineis shot a 32 but wasn’t the top golfer!”
Setas then fired a 70 to earn medalist honors, while Fineis and senior Danielle Crilley tied for second at 75 as the defending Division 4 champion and top-ranked Cougars won the East Lansing Invitational on Monday.
“Those three are incredible golfers, and they have worked really hard,” Schafer said.
