SARTELL – Ellen Bloom won three events to lead Sartell past St. Cloud Tech 107-78 in Central Lakes Conference girls swimming action Thursday night at Sartell High School.
Bloom won the 200 freestyle (2:01.22), the 100 butterfly (57.88) and helped win the 200 freestyle 1:42.58. Gabby Hagen added wins in the 200 individual medley (2:19.60) and the 100 freestyle (56.24).
Francesca Walker-Rozo and Katie Heller had St. Cloud Tech’s only two first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (26.18) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.13), respectively.
Fergus Falls 100,
St. Cloud Apollo 86
Fergus Falls junior Abby Fisher led the Otters to victory against Apollo at Apollo High School. She finished first in both the 100 butterfly (1:06.04) and the 100 backstroke (1:04.76).
Apollo swimmers finished in the top three spots in the 500 freestyle. Hannah Reichel won the race (5:54.84), Emily Boysen finished second (6:07.98) and Abby Donnay came in third (6:20.55).
Sarah Forker and Clair Coffee each won individual events and together helped win the 200 free relay in Milaca’s win against St. Cloud Cathedral/St. John’s Prep at Tech High School.
Forker won the 50 freestyle (26.87) and Coffee won the 100 freestyle (1:02.54).
Sophie Titus led Cathedral/Prep with three wins. She won the 200 freestyle (2:18.11), the 100 backstroke (1:12.23) and helped the 400 freestyle relay win in 4:20.04.
FOLEY 102, LITTLE FALLS 83
LITTLE FALLS – Foley earned wins in both the 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley while Little Falls took home victories in the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.
Emily Stark finished with a time of 1:17.3 in the breaststroke to lead Little Falls while Kristin Bobick notched a time of 1:05.81 in the 100 freestyle to earn a victory. Foley was led by Kasey Milstroh’s 2:06.63 in the 200 freestyle and Alisha Stemper’s time of 2:32.49 in the 200 individual medley.
SM-ALBERTVILLE 111, MELROSE 75
MELROSE – The 200 individual medley team of Rachael Kulzer, Syney Rasmussen, Gabbi Sawyer and Amanda Warzecha set a pool record with a time of 1:56.38, but the Dutchmen were unable to defeat the Knights in nonconference action.
Sawyer won the 100 butterfly (103.01) and the 100 backstroke (107.94), and Warzecha won the 50 and 100 freestyle with times of (25.97) and (57.79).
SAUK CENTRE 91
SAUK CENTRE – The meet was tied heading into the 100 breaststroke when the Cardinals pulled away with a first and third place finish.
For Sauk Centre (2-1), eighth-grader Alyssa Kohorst won the 50 freestyle (27.03), Tiana Molitor won the 100 and 200 freestyle (2:07.02).
