Prep hockey: Sheboygan takes down Arrowhead

Collin Peters scored two goals and Avery Huibregtse had one goal and one assist as the Sheboygan co-op hockey team edged state-ranked Hartland Arrowhead 3-2 on Saturday at the Lakers Ice Center.

Derek D’Amico also had an assist. Cam Scheuren had 24 saves on 26 shots in goal for the Red Raiders, who tied third-ranked De Pere on Thursday. Arrowhead is No. 8 in the state.

Arrowhead scored first, but Sheboygan answered 30 seconds later. Arrowhead tied it in the second period, but Peters scored the eventual game winner with 6:52 left in the game.

Sheboygan (6-3-1) is at Bay Port on Tuesday.
