New Castle defeated Central 196-212. Sydney Norris led the Bearcats with 47.

Union County defeated Winchester 167-190. Mallory Chalfant shot a career-low 38 for the Golden Falcons.

Richmond defeated Jay County 172-237. Alysia Fennig led the Patriots with 51.

Wapahani shot a 194 in a dual against Shenandoah, which did not field a complete team. Wapahani’s Lauren Castor was the medalist at 46. Briana Moore led Shenandoah with a 51.


Southside opened its season with a 6-4 victory at Union City. Devon McNabb had three goals for the Rebels.

Wapahani defeated Anderson Prep 5-2. Brandon Williams scored two goals for the Raiders.


Southside fell to Connersville 4-1. Morgan Coates scored the Rebels’ lone goal.

Greenfield-Central defeated Yorktown 2-0.

Delta defeated Anderson 1-0. Naja Chimbanda scored the Eagles’ goal.

Jay County lost to Marion 4-0.


Yorktown defeated Shelbyville 3-2. Ian Landwehr and Ian Helfert each turned in singles wins for the Tigers. Tyler Campbell and Noah Kinghorn won the No. 1 doubles match.

Jay County lost 5-0 to Northeastern.


New Castle finished sixth in the Arabian Roundup on Wednesday. The Trojan’s Tanner Dye was second in 16:43.


New Castle defeated Cowan 25-16, 25-14, 25-10. Lauryn Gillis led the Trojans with 13 kills and seven digs. Laryssa Welch added 12 kills. Valorie Flick had 12 digs for Cowan.

Union County defeated Union City 25-11, 25-13, 25-16. Lyndsay Pearson had 18 digs for the Indians.

Yorktown defeated Shenandoah 25-5, 25-5, 25-8. Harlie Holding had 10 digs for the Tigers. Taylor Zwickl had 24 assists and seven digs for Yorktown. Andi Hise had four kills for the Raiders.

Delta defeated Rushville 25-8, 25-10, 25-12. Teaghan Dishman had 23 digs for the Eagles. Taylor Wright had 12 kills for Delta, while Marissa Elam had 11 kills.

Wapahani beat Southside 25-6, 25-14, 25-5. Lindi Thomas had 14 kills for the Raiders, and Aubreigh Applegate added 10. Danielle Nelson had eight digs for the Rebels.

Blue River defeated Knightstown 17-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-28 on Wednesday. Christina Hughes had 15 kills for the Vikings.

Union beat Seton Catholic 25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19 on Wednesday. Lisa Rodriguez had 17 kills for the Rockets.

Northeastern defeated Monroe Central 25-17, 25-7, 25-9.
