Catherine’s thoughts:
“I think the season is going good. We started off good and showed everyone that we are basically ready to play and weren’t going to take a step back. As a team we are really tight on and off the court and that’s what is getting us through tough stretches and it will help us later on in the season because every team goes through tough stretches. As a captain I have to step up to show my leadership but the other two captains (Rachel Moczynski and Sophie Pitz) will help me with that and team-wise I think we could go far this season.”
Coach Ned Jacquart’s thoughts:
“I think (Catherine’s season) has been going really well. I like the way she has been stepping up her game this year in the fourth quarter. All of our games have been close, and I don’t know if that’s experience or confidence or what, but she seems to have a knack this year for taking the team on her back and finding a way to win. She is a smart player, understand the game and knows what I expect and what I want and she has just been making plays when we have needed them the most.”
