Phil Ruegemer, Charlie Schuweiler, and Hayden Speaks each scored as St. Cloud Cathedral topped Little Falls 3-1 Thursday afternoon in a boys soccer game at Whitney Park.
Schuweiler, Miles Hagen and Alex Peterson had assists for the Crusaders (9-0-2), who led 1-0 at halftime.
Thomas Bell scored for Little Falls 10 minutes into the second half to cut into a 2-0 Cathedral lead, but the Crusaders added a goal with three minutes left.
SARTELL 1, WILLMAR 0
WILLMAR – Carter Kasianov scored the lone goal in the Central Lakes Conference win for the Sabres (6-2-1, 7-5-1). Skylar Gardner had five saves for Sartell.
ST. JOHN’S PREP 5,
COLLEGEVILLE – Seven minutes into the game, St. John’s Prep’s Luke Teigen already had two goals.
Connor Stark-Haws was credited with the assists on Teigen’s headers. Stark-Haws also notched a first-half goal. Teigen was at it again in the second half scoring two more goals for the Johnnies (9-5).
Caz Novak stopped seven shots in net for St. John’s Prep.
ST. CLOUD APOLLO 4,
ST. CLOUD TECH 2
St. Cloud Apollo rallied from a second-half deficit to defeat St. Cloud Tech in a Central Lakes Conference boys soccer match at Husky Stadium.
Apollo (9-0-1 CLC, 11-1-1 overall) remains in first place in the conference. Tech (6-2-0, 9-2-0) is second. Senior captain Hamse Abdule scored two goals for the Eagles. His first at 30:30 of the first half gave Apollo the lead.
Tech got goals from ninth-grader Mohamud Aden and senior Irvin Rivera to take a 2-1 lead with 30:03 to play.
Apollo then tied it up on Abdule’s second goal with 14:12 to go. Next came senior Shafi Sire’s goal to make 3-2 Apollo. The Eagles increased the lead to 4-2 on senior Said Gure’s goal.

FERGUS FALLS 1
FERGUS FALLS – Sadiq Hassan scored twice to lead Sauk Rapids past Fergus Falls in Central Lakes Conference play.
Tristin Avery put the Storm up 2-1 going into halftime and Eric Cooper finished with two assists. Sam Hastings had seven saves in goal for Sauk Rapids (4-5-3 overall).
SARTELL 5, WILLMAR 0
SARTELL – The Sabres walloped the Cardinals with five first-half goals in a Central Lakes Conference victory.
Taylor Kruse led the way with two scores, while Erin Deters and Amber Delcastillo combined for five saves to earn the shutout. Sophie VanSurksum, Katie Stuttgen and Amanda Baloun all had goals for Sartell (5-3-2 CLC, 8-3-2 overall).
ST. JOHN’S PREP 0
PRINCETON – The Tigers poured on three second-half goals to finish St. John’s Prep in a Granite Ridge Conference game.
Princeton led 1-0 at halftime and held the Johnnies to one shot on goal for the game. Leah Schellinger made 11 saves for St. John’s Prep (5-3 GRC, 9-5 overall).

SAUK RAPIDS – Nicole Partch tallied a hat trick with three goals for the Storm while teammate Brianna Voss added two goals.
Sauk Rapids (7-2-2) breezed to victory with Olivia Stockinger making six saves. Annie Magnusson had a goal for the Otters.
