LITTLE FALLS – Mo Schroeder notched a shutout with 12 saves in St. Cloud Cathedral’s 4-0 Granite Ridge Conference win Tuesday against Little Falls in girls soccer.

Cia Strong, Maddie Curtis, Ellie Engel and Courtney Jones had a goal each for the Crusaders (3-0 GRC, 5-1 overall).

Scotti Jo Meyer made 22 saves for the Flyers.

Princeton 6, St. John’s Prep 1

COLLEGEVILLE – Clare Culligan scored the lone goal for St. John’s Prep in a Granite Ridge Conference game.

Culligan’s goal was unassisted in the 35th minute as the Johnnies faced a 2-0 deficit.

Leah Schellinger had eight saves and Prep had seven shots.

The Johnnies (2-1 GRC, 4-3 overall) played one player short for the last 50 minutes of the game when a defender received a red card when she prevented a Princeton goal with her hand.

Zimmerman 3, Becker 1

BECKER – Mikki Berscheit scored the lone goal for Becker in a Granite Ridge Conference loss to Zimmerman.

The Thunder led 2-0 at the half and Emily Wolff had 12 saves for the Bulldogs.


WILLMAR – Brooke Johnson scored two goals to boost the Eagles to a Central Lakes Conference road win.

Christine Stephanie had Apollo’s other goal, and goalkeeper Liz Lowery made four saves for the Eagles (5-3).

Sauk Rapids 0, Brainerd 0

BRAINERD – Sauk Rapids and Brainerd battled to an overtime draw in Central Lakes Conference play.

Goalkeeper Heather Campbell made 9 saves for Brainerd (2-1-1). Sauk Rapids keeper Olivia Stockinger had 11 saves

The Storm (3-0-1 Central Lakes, 5-0-1 overall) has allowed one goal in its first six games.


ALEXANDRIA – Sartell and Alexandria traded early first-half goals and went scoreless the rest of the way in a CLC tie.

Sophia VanSurksum scored Sartell’s goal at the 11-minute mark of the first half and Gabrielle Koel answered for Alexendria three minutes later.

A scoring drought ensued, and the game was called a tie after two extra time periods.

Sartell outshot the Cardinals 21-11 and Erin Deters made six saves for Sartell (4-1-2).


SARTELL – Ethan Lorsung and Tyler Minkel knocked in their first goals of the season for the Sabres.

Kyle Erickson led Sartell (5-2) with two goals, and Skylar Gardner made six saves to earn the shutout.


PRINCETON – The Johnnies were able to balance their scoring in the win, notching three goals in each half.

Zack Dehler had a two-goal game for Prep (5-2), while Caz Novak made eight saves in net to earn the shutout.
