Becker topped St. Cloud Cathedral, 4-3, after Katie Suckert won the deciding No. 3 singles match in a Granite Ridge Conference girls tennis meet Tuesday at North Junior High.

Berscheit battled back from a 5-1 deficit in the third set to win a tiebreaker and clinch the win for the Bulldogs.

Becker swept the doubles matches.

Erin Stocker (No. 1 singles), Lexie Nepsund (No. 2 singles) and Erika Barthelemy (No. 4 singles) got the wins for Cathedral (2-2 Granite Ridge, 7-8 overall).

SAUK CENTRE 4, MINNEWASKA 3

SAUK CENTRE – Sauk Centre edged Minnewaska 4-3 in a West Central Conference showdown.

Senior Kathryn Macey won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 doubles for the Mainstreeters.

The Mainstreeters (3-0 West Central, 11-2 overall) were also victorious at No. 4 singles No. 3 doubles to clinch the win.

Foley 7, Little Falls 0

FOLEY – Foley’s top doubles team of Emily Erickson and Alycia Chmielewski won 6-0, 6-2, spurring the Falcons on to a Granite Ridge Conference win.

Kayla McIver led Foley (4-0 Granite Ridge, 8-2 overall), ranked 10th in Class A, in singles play with a 6-4, 6-2 win in the No. 4 spot.

Minnetonka 4, St. Cloud Tech 3

MINNETONKA – Taylor Tarrolly won 6-3, 3-1 (retired) in the No. 1 singles match but it wasn’t enough in St. Cloud Tech’s loss to No. 3 Minnetonka.

Leah Wurm got a 6-0, 6-2 win for the 11th-ranked Tigers (4-1) at No. 3 singles and Tech’s No. 2 doubles of Sam Eisenreich and Sabrina Sturm won 6-1, 6-4.

Willmar 7, Sartell 0

WILLMAR – The Cardinals won all seven matches in straight sets to sweep a Central Lakes Conference meet.

Delano 7, Annandale 0

DELANO – Lexie Arlt and Tasha Laudenbach had the best match for Annandale out of the No. 2 doubles spot in a Wright County Conference loss.

Arlt and Laudenbach fell 6-7, 7-5, 4-10 for the Cardinals (2-2 Wright County, 8-3 overall).

The Tigers are undefeated and ranked eighth in Class 2-A.

ROCORI 97, STAPLES-MOTLEY 73

STAPLES – Ann Alexander took first in the 500 freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle to help Rocori secure a nonconference win at Staples-Motley.

Alexander swam a 6:00.51 in the 500 freestyle.

ST. CLOUD Apollo 97, Princeton 89

Kara Bohlen won three events to lead St. Cloud Apollo past Princeton in a nonconference meet at Apollo High School.

Bohlen won the 50 freestyle (26.29), 100 freestyle (59.77) and was part of the 200 freestyle relay that won in 1:50.35.

Ashley Thelen had a personal best score (165.45) in diving for the Eagles (1-1 overall) and Rebecca Krych won the 100 backstroke (1:05.43).

Albany 65, Holdingford 37

ALBANY – Senior Rachel Tiede won the 200 individual medley (2:26.19), 500 freestyle (5:40.04) and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay (4:10.21) and 200 freestyle relay teams (1:52.94) to lead the Huskies.

Junior Emily Kollodge won the 100 butterfly (1:07.76) and was on the winning 200 medley relay (2:06.26) and 400 freestyle relay teams for Albany.

Freshman Meghan Mokhtary had a personal-best time of 1:21.31 to win the 100 breaststroke for the Huskers.

MELROSE 114, MONTEVIDEO 67

MONTEVIDEO – Junior Kennedy Eichers and sophomore Gabi Sawyer each won two events to lead Melrose.

Eichers won the 50 freestyle in a time of 27.13 and 500 freestyle in 5:56.19.

Sawyer notched times of 2:28.99 and 59.91 in the 200 individual medley and 100 freestyle, respectively, for the Dutchmen (1-0, 2-1).
