Prep wrestling: Luxemburg-Casco perfect at Spartan Duals

LUXEMBURG – The Luxemburg-Casco wrestling team went undefeated to take first place at its Spartan Duals on Saturday.

Eric Peters, Austin Worachek, Ethan Peters and Newton Smerchek all went unbeaten individually for the Spartans.

Bay Port finished in second, followed by Port Washington, Sheboygan Falls, Freedom and Kewaskum.

Red Raider Duals

PULASKI – Five Two Rivers wrestlers went 5-0 as the team took first place at the Red Raider Duals.

Pulaski’s Bradley Prentice and Casey Caelwaerts and Coleman’s Jensyn Schaal, Mason Mergener, Dexter Karban and Issac Nowak also went undefeated.

Oconto Invite

OCONTO – Morgan Krueger, Carter Shampo and Hayden Krueger went undefeated to lead Crandon to a second-place finish behind Tomahawk. Spencer finished in third, followed by Oconto, Shiocton and Wabeno.

Crivitz Invitational Team Duals

CRIVITZ – Daniel Tomaszewski and Joe Rodrigez went 5-0 as Crivitz finished in second behind Amherst.

Hunter Pawelski of Southern Door also went undefeated, as did Elcho’s Donovan Houle, Marinette’s Jaden Boivin and Florence’s Danny Jones and Shawn Paulson.

Little Chute Invite

LITTLE CHUTE – Michael Bannach, Dillan Micke, Josh Verbeten, Alex Maes and Al Keuler took first place individually for Wrightstown as the team finished in second place behind Little Chute.

De Pere took third followed by Weyauwega-Fremont, West De Pere, Appleton West, Gillett/Suring, Clintonville and Lena.

Kaukauna Duals

KAUKAUNA – Ashwaubenon’s Mitchell Cole went 5-0 as Ashwaubenon finished in third behind winner Kaukauna and Stevens Point.
