Outlook: The Raiders return two state qualifiers in Yauch and Pelot at 132 and 113, respectively. Both wrestlers, along with Scott Skornicka (195), helped Two Rivers win the EWC title last season.

Manitowoc Lincoln

Coach: Jack Youngchild, second year

Last year: fourth, Fox River Classic Conference

Returning letter winners: Dylan Conjurski, sr.; Zac Youngchild, jr.; Zach Truett, jr.; Avery Jessel, jr.; Austin Krueger, so.; Jonah Mrozinsky, sr.; Collin Saubert, jr.;

Outlook: The Ships will be going through a youth movement, with at least four freshmen and two or three sophomores ready to see considerable action. Zac Youngchild is a two-time state qualifier while taking fourth as a freshman.


Coach: Paul Schweigl, second year

Last year: Ninth, Olympian Conference

Returning letter winners: Spencer Fricke, jr.; Stephen Heili, sr.

Outlook: While lacking in numbers and experience, Roncalli is expecting a lot out of Heili. Schweigl said he sees a lot of potential in freshman Ben Kiel.


Coach: Mike Pratt, ninth year

Outlook: The team has solid leadership, Pratt said, and is full of hard workers. The team expects to finish in the middle of the conference standings despite having to forfeit four weight classes.


Coach: Andrew Miller, third

Outlook: Valders has a group of strong athletes that are committed to working hard during practice to help the team. Injuries have been a concern early for the Vikings, with the hope being the team will be at full strength as early as January or February. The squad lacks depth in various weight classes.
