NEW CASTLE, Ind.

Richmond’s bowling teams remain undefeated, sweeping their matches Saturday at Rose City Bowl in New Castle.

The boys defeated Tri High 18-2 and Rushville 16-4 while the girls shut out both Connersville and Knightstown 20-0.

Against Tri, Travis Morris led the boys with a 257 game and 511 series, earning him Conference Most Valuable Bowler for the second time this season.

In the nightcap, Blake Dunham led the team with a 234 game and 423 series.

On the girls side, Taylar Shouse paced the Devils against Connersville with a 224 game and 404 series.

Cierra Bowman had the hot hand against Knightstown, shooting a 230 game and 434 series earning her Conference MVB.

Both teams take an unblemished record into the holiday break. The boys are 11-0, while the girls are 8-0.

RHS returns to action Jan. 5 at Rose City Bowl in New Castle. The boys bowl the host Trojans and Centerville with the girls taking on Shenandoah.
