DELAWARE — River Valley’s boys golf team won its group championship Tuesday in the North Union Invitational at Glennross Golf Course southeast of Delaware.
The Vikings totaled 320 strokes to claim the Group B championship. Pleasant finished fourth in that group with 344, Elgin was fifth at 348 and North Union shot 362 for sixth.
In Group A, Buckeye Valley placed third with a 338 and Marion Harding was sixth at 426.
Caden Orewiler led River Valley to its win with a 2-over 70. Brock Faulkner added a 78, Evan Springer shot an 81, Mitch Swonger fired an 89 and Joe Lackey carded a 91.
Lucas Haycook paced Elgin with a 78; Rob Martin led Pleasant with an 81; Blake Barry was low for North Union with an 86; Kyle Fulton topped Harding with an 84; and Clay Walter’s 72 was best for Buckeye Valley.

Hilliard Davidson won Group A with 305 while Tree of Life claimed Group C with 312.
