The usual suspects were in play on Friday night as the Roncalli girls basketball team defeated visiting Brillion 48-39 to keep pace with Wrightstown atop the Olympian Conference standings.
Rachel Mocyznski and Catherine Taddy scored 18 and 13 points, respectively, to pace the Jets’ offense, which held on late after the Lions trimmed a 20-11 first-quarter lead to 37-31 entering the fourth.
Erin Jagemann nailed a pair of 3-pointers for Roncalli (6-1, 5-1), finishing with eight points for the game.
The Lions (4-4, 2-4) meanwhile, have dropped four OC games this season after having lost just one last season en route to the conference title and a 23-2 record.

With both of its seniors unavailable for the home contest, Lutheran took a 20-9 lead into halftime and never looked back.
MacKayla Menges and Arianna Neumeyer led Lutheran (6-2, 5-2 OC) with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Neumeyer, along with teammate Kaitlin Radue (nine points), each made a pair of 3’s to account for every Lancers shot from beyond the arc.

The Panthers outscored the visiting Zephyrs by 10 points in the second quarter, which proved vital in OC clash.
Reedsville (6-2, 4-2) gave St. Mary Central (5-2, 4-2) its second conference loss of the season behind a game-high 12 points from Shelby Otto. Otto was the lone player on either side in double figures.

Morgan Melichar carried visiting Mishicot, outdueling the Vikings’ Danelle Buck by scoring 28 points to Buck’s 25 to gave the Indians their first win of the season.
Melichar put her stamp on the game by hitting a game-high five 3-pointers to lead the Indians (1-7, 1-5) offensively.
Buck was joined by teammate Brittany Erickson (10 points) in double figures to pace Valders (1-6, 1-5).
