The host Roncalli football team amassed 385 yards on the ground, including a pair of Jets’ touchdown runs each by Collin Senglaub and Alex Katz en route a 39-7 victory over Oconto on Friday.

Senglaub scampered in from 15 and 42 yards out to put Roncalli (1-0) out front early in the first quarter while Katz scored from one and two yards out first and second quarters.

Joey Macdonald hauled in all three Roncalli passes, one from Jared Patek and two from Zach Slattery, for 25 yards to lead the Jets’ receivers.

Reedsville dominated visiting Shoreland Lutheran, piling up 373 rushing yards and eight touchdowns to win easily.

The Panthers’ Brock Gilsdorf combined for 183 all-purpose yards, 132 rushing and 51 passing, to lead the Reedsville offense.

Gilsdorf completed two passes, both to Bryler Kiekhaefer, to keep Shoreland on their heels defensively. On the ground he would score touchdowns of 7, 21, 28 and 10-yards.

Elliot Ebert put his own stamp in the Panthers potent rushing attack, carrying the ball 12 times for 88 yards including touchdown runs of 1 and 24-yards.

Also scoring on the ground for Reedsville (1-0) were Brett Dvoracheck (41-yards) and Dakota LeCaptain (8-yards).

The Indians fell behind 20-7 at halftime and were never able to recover in the home loss.

Chris Kornelly led Mishicot in rushing with 113 yards on 21 carries. Kornelly added a one-yard plunge in the second quarter to get the Indians on the board.

Through the air, Brandon Butler was 3-of-10 for 61 yards hitting Derek Hlinak once for 38 yards and Brett Steffen twice for 23.
