Fond du Lac junior Jenna Rosenthal had a big impact for the Cardinals this season and was named second-team all-Fox Valley Association recently by the league’s coaches.

The middle blocker who verbally committed to Marquette over the summer, finished with 126 total blocks including 45 solo blocks in a total of 50 matches this past season. Rosenthal also provided the most offense for the Cardinals with 319 kills, which was another team high for her.

Fondy’s only other all-conference player was outside hitter Brianna Wagner, another junior, who was named honorable mention. She had 266 kills and 51 blocks, second to Rosenthal in both categories.

The league doesn’t announce a player of the year, but Neenah junior Haley Barnes was the only unanimous first-team pick.
