Senior forward Anton Benedikt scored for the 15th-seeded Dodgers (3-4-1) 13 minutes into the match. Michael Katzenberger tied things up 15 minutes later for the Gaels (3-6), who visit No. 2 Morris Hills next Sunday.
Mountain Lakes 2, Kinnelon 1: Junior striker Kyle Wright scored the game-winner off the crossbar from 35 yards out with eight minutes to go, giving Mountain Lakes its second victory over Kinnelon in eight days. Skyler Van Dyke had put the 12th-seeded Lakers (4-3-2) on the scoreboard eight minutes into the second half. Junior midfielder Taylor Monro tied the game for No. 21 Kinnelon nine minutes later. Mountain Lakes visits No. 5 Parsippany Hills next Sunday.
Mount Olive 6, Boonton 2: Defender Zach Mears scored his first varsity goal on a 40-yard shot and also had an assist for 11th-seeded Mount Olive (5-4). Ryan Peterson added four goals and an assist for the Marauders, who visit No. 6 Montville on Sunday. Anthony Cerda had a goal and three assists. Justin Forbes converted a Boonton penalty kick. Luke Metrich added another goal for the Bombers with 15 minutes to go.
Chatham 3, Dover 0: Junior David Gill notched a hat trick for 10th-seeded Chatham (4-3-1). Bobby Leverich and Kevin Tomaino split the shutout, the Cougars’ second of the season.
Randolph 4, Butler 0: Senior midfielder Francesco Folino tallied twice for No. 9 Randolph. Senior Angel Baena and freshman Mateo Panizza also tallied for the Rams (5-2-1), who visit eighth-seeded Morristown next Sunday. Randolph senior goalkeeper Max Moroze made two saves to earn his first varsity shutout.
Delbarton 1, Chaminade (N.Y.) 0: Senior midfielder Greg Seifert scored as Delbarton (8-0) won its own invitational. Sophomore goalie Scott Forbes earned his seventh shutout without making a save.
