AMES, Ia. – No. 5 Dowling jumped to an early lead, but needed a layup with 13 seconds left to get the win at Ames (5-4).

Sophomore Audrey Faber led the Maroons (7-1) with 15 points, and Kaitlyn Mauk added 11. Ashley Ray paced the Little Cyclones with 10 points.

SIOUX CENTER, Ia. – No. 6 Des Moines Christian stayed unbeaten with a win over South Dakota’s fifth-ranked team.

The Lions (7-0) jumped to a 17-point lead by halftime and held on thanks to 15 points from Tiffany Stubbs and 11 points by Brittany Zimmer.

SIOUX CENTER, Ia. – No. 5 Des Moines Christian was dealt its first loss of the season in the Dordt College Classic. Sioux Falls Christian is the third-ranked team in South Dakota’s Class A.

The Lions (7-1) held a 34-33 advantage in the fourth quarter before fading. Jared Jones led Des Moines Christian with 18 points.
