Eleven players scored for host Silver Creek as it pummeled Clarksville 56-24 Wednesday night in high school girls’ basketball.
“We got out of the gates pretty quick on them,” said Dragons coach Scott Schoen, whose team piled up a 15-3 first-quarter lead. “Our intensity was really good.”
Alexis McFarland totaled 10 points and Alexis Barnett eight for Silver Creek, which improved to 4-1.
Clarksville (2-5) was led by Haley Jenkins’ nine points.
* Austin 62, Charlestown 48: Jessie Davidson poured in 17 points and Megan Smith added 14 as the host Eagles (2-2) held back the Pirates (2-3).
Kaitlynn Henning paced Charlestown with 17 points, and Justice Burdin chipped in 15.
