No. 2 John Curtis (River Ridge, La.), No. 3 DeSoto (Texas), No. 4 Bellevue (Wash.) and No. 5 De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) all had convincing wins to keep pace. The top 10 spots in this week's rankings are unchanged.
St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) is the only new team in this week's rankings. The Eagles scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to knock off then-No. 14 St. Ignatius (Cleveland), 20-13, in the 50th meeting between the two rivals. The host Wildcats dropped out of the rankings.
The only other Super 25 team to lose this week was Trinity (Louisville), which had its 33-game losing streak snapped by Moeller (Cincinnati), 45-42. The Rocks fell from No. 11 to No. 20.
