There is a new hire on the Central Georgia football coaching front. Crawford County’s long tenured Tony Byram is being replaced with newcomer Greg Street on the sidelines starting this fall.
Street played his prep days at Peach County but is more recently coming from Northside High School in Warner Robins after a six year stretch as an assistant defensive line and an assistant track coach with “Big Blue”.
As you may recall Byram had two stints in Roberta. The first from 1983-1999. Then he returned in 2003 through this past season in 2011.
Earlier Wednesday evening the Crawford County Board of Education arranged a meet and greet with Coach Street at the high school.
The Eagles were winless last season at 0-10.
