Plymouth’s baseball team trailed Kiel 6-3 entering the sixth inning Monday before rallying for a 7-6 Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.
With two outs and a runner on second base in the sixth, Matt Rhude reached on an error, Eric Leinen doubled, Kevin Friedrichs walked and Clay Henning doubled to tie the game.
Tony Arnold then broke a 6-6 tie in the seventh with a two-out RBI single.
Henning, Arnold and Leinen each finished with two hits for Plymouth (7-3, 3-2).
Jordan Meyer went 3-for-4 to lead Kiel (1-8, 0-5) offensively.
Kewaskum 15, New Holstein 2
Tony Gonring went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Indians rolled to the EWC win.
Morgan Freund took the loss for New Holstein (2-11, 1-6), allowing five runs (two earned) on three hits.
Sheb. Falls 19, Howards Grove 2
The Falcons improved to 11-0 on the year with the non-conference win at Fox Cities Stadium.
Zach Van Engen went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double, Nate Heili went 2-for-4 with a triple, Ryan Halverson was 2-for-2 with an RBI and four runs and Jake Wiesenthal went 2-for-3 to lead Falls offensively. Falcons senior Cole Heili also hit his fourth home run of the year.
Nate Heili got the win, allowing two runs on two hits.
Ashton Holzman took the loss for Howards (4-2), giving up 11 runs (six earned) on eight hits.
Howards plays at Elkhart Lake on Wednesday.
Ozaukee 10, Lutheran/Kohler 3
The Warriors broke open a close game with six runs in the top of the seventh inning.
Owen Miller got the win for Ozaukee and also went 2-for-3 at the plate to help his own cause. Pat Kroening tripled and Devon Linzenmeyer was 2-for-5 with a double.
Calvin Stefanczyk was 2-for-4 with a double and Nate Tures went 2-for-4 for the Crusaders.
