Returning letter winners: Taylor Albright, Sr.; Courtney Griffith, Sr.; Stephanie Kliment, Jr.; Karly Rosinsky, Jr.; Caitlyn Cayemberg, So.; Miranda Gove, So.

Outlook: The top six Ships from last season return this year, and as a result, Nikolai said he thinks the team will be improved. He thinks the team will finish in the top half of the FRCC and hopes to get five or six runners consistently breaking the 17-minute mark.

Two Rivers

Coach: Amy Gallagher, 12th year

Last year: Second in Eastern Wisconsin Conference

Returning letter winners: McKenzie Smith, Sr.; Carly Terp, Jr.; Kristy Terp, So.

Outlook: After graduating a strong and talented senior group in May, the Raiders will look to this year’s crop of seniors to lead a talented group of underclassmen, Gallagher said. Gallagher added the work ethic and desire to win has been noticeable from the team and she feels the Raiders will be a strong contender for the top spot in the EWC.

Man. Lutheran

Coach: Abbey Bubolz, first year

Last year: Sixth in the Olympian Conference

Returning letter winners: Nicole Strutz, Sr.; Rachel Winter, Jr.; Anna Bramstedt, Jr.; Ryley Schetter, Jr.; Annalisa Schuette, So.

Outlook: Bubolz said the team is fairly young and has a good work ethic despite having one returning State qualifier.

Roncalli

Coach: Tim Schroeder, fourth year

Last year: Third in OC

Returning letter winners: Meghan Jacoby, So.; Andrea Lohr, Jr.; Hailey Hoffmann, So.; Allie Zahn, So.; Paige Ruh, Jr.; Mary Cvetan, Jr.

Outlook: The varsity squad is very young but Schroeder said thinks the squad will improve as the season progresses as long as everyone stays healthy.

Valders

Coach: Bill Dietrich, third year

Last year: N/A

Returning letter winners: Beth Evans, So.; Paige Neumeyer, Sr.; Jacqui Wenzel, So.; Angie Brandl, Jr.; Regina Bushman, Jr.; Katie Mulhaney, Sr.

Outlook: The Vikings feel confident after taking second behind Two Rivers at last weeks Kiel Invite. Dietrich is pleased with his teams strong showing early on in the season.
