Tri-Valley volleyball wins Wednesday


Sydney Miller hit 14 kills with an ace, Claire Ardrey was 8-of-9 serving with an ace and 11 kills, and Abby Maurer added 19 assists, an ace and 100 percent as visiting Tri-Valley improved to 13-2 in the MVL and 15-6 overall with a 25-15, 25-20, 25-13 win against Crooksville.

Shelbi Van Meter had four blocks, Madison Sprankle added three kills, three blocks and three digs, Jordan Smith had four points, four assists and an ace, and Jaden Derwacter contributed three kills and three digs for Crooksville (0-16, 1-16).

Tri-Valley reserves won 25-8, 25-11 as Sydney Sterling finished with 16 points, six assists and an ace; Allie Farmer six kills; Olivia Holbert two kills and Lexi Adams 11 points, three aces and four assists. Jade Thompson and Darean Williams both had two points for Crooksville.
