The All-Eastern Wisconsin Conference softball teams were released on Saturday, with nine area players named including two first team selections in seniors Kendra Pasek (catcher) and Bailey Payette (infielder) from Two Rivers.
In all, six players were named All-EWC from Two Rivers, two first team, three second and one honorable mention while Kiel had three (one second team, two honorable mention).
Pasek and Payette were joined by an all-senior group including infielders Miranda Cisler, Cassie Onderebe and outfielder Haley Groelle who were named second-team EWC and pitcher Tanya Enfors (honorable mention).
Kiel was led by second team junior Katie Kracht (utility) and honorable mention selections Erin Barrette (senior infielder) and Brenna Spencer (sophomore outfielder).
