Dallas Center-Grimes 1 WAUKEE, Ia. – Tyler Johnson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI as Waukee, the fourth-ranked team in Class 4-A defeated Dallas Center-Grimes, ranked No. 2 in Class 3-A.

Des Moines Christian 1, Ogden 0

URBANDALE, Ia. – Des Moines Christian starter Sean Glenn struck out 12 in a three-hit shutout.

Iowa Christian Academy 8, Orient-Macksburg 4

MACKSBURG, Ia. – Austin Grimm tossed a complete game, striking out 13 to get the win for Iowa Christian Academy.

Norwalk 3, Saydel 2

NORWALK, Ia. – Austin Grant scored the winning run for Norwalk on a suicide squeeze by Tyler Schilling in the eighth inning.


Dallas Center-Grimes 2, Waukee 0

WAUKEE, Ia. – Paige Lowary tossed a five-hitter, striking out six, to get the win as No. 2 Dallas Center-Grimes scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning.

Ballard (Huxley) 9,

Carroll 2 BALLARD, Ia. – Grace Hall batted 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Ballard. Ellie Godwin scored three runs for the Bombers.

Norwalk 5-2, Roosevelt 1-1

Mel Stevens and Sierra Nelson each went 2-for-4 at the plate in the first game for Norwalk. Devin Brown allowed only six hits as the winning pitcher of the second game.

Indianola 7, Carlisle 1

INDIANOLA, Ia. – Abbie Van Vleet went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and tossed a complete game on the mound for the win.

Interstate 35 (Truro) 6-12, Central Decatur (Leon) 2-1

Interstate 35 coach Tim Bogs recorded his 500th win.
