Brandon Decker scored 14 points Saturday to help Twin Tiers Christian Academy down Central Baptist Christian Academy, 42-36, in boys basketball at Ernie Davis Middle School.

The win was the 201st for Twin Tiers coach Cary Shaw, who was presented a plaque commemorating win No. 200 from earlier this season.

Twin Tiers led 20-12 at halftime.

* Watkins Glen 69, Newark Valley 62 (3OT): Josh Teeter scored 25 points Friday as Watkins Glen outlasted visiting Newfield in three overtimes in an Interscholastic Athletic Conference game.

The Senecas (3-1) outscored Newark Valley 14-7 in the final overtime period to secure the victory.

The teams were tied at 40 after regulation.

Devlin Farr led Newark Valley with 17 points.

Watkins Glen plays at rival Odessa-Montour (5-0) on Tuesday night.

* Liberty 50, Wyalusing 45: James Walker had 17 points and Jacob Spring scored 16 as Liberty downed Wyalusing in a non-league game Friday.

Girls basketball

* Twin Tiers Christian 35, Central Baptist Christian 27 (2OT): Twin Tiers Christian Academy outscored Central Baptist 8-0 in the second overtime period and picked up a win at Ernie Davis Middle School.

Lyn Torres scored 11 points for Twin Tiers. Heidi Depue and Colleen O’Connor contributed 10 points each.

Bowling

* Corning tournament moved to January: The Tom Sullivan Memorial High School Bowling Tournament, originally scheduled for Dec. 29, has been moved to Jan. 26.

The fifth annual tournament will be played at Crystal Lanes in Corning.
