In a back-and-forth affair, the Valders girls volleyball team fell in five games to visiting Brillion on Tuesday night by scores of 22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-17 and 15-9.

“With a combination of solid defense and strategic offense we were able to withstand every run Valders could muster,” Brillion coach Ben Olson said in an email. “This was a brutal back and forth match.”

The Vikings were led by Melissa Schroeder who had 20 kills and Emily Brennan and Brittany Erickson who each had 18 kills.

Brennan and Erickson also each recorded five points while teammate Lauren Brandl led the way with 15 points.

Additionally for Valders, Michaela Meidl and Ali Lehman each had 10 points.

Wrightstown 3, Roncalli 0

Visiting Roncalli fell by scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-15.
