The Two Rivers girls volleyball team fell in three games to visiting Waupun by scores of 25-13, 25-10 and 25-7 on Tuesday night.

Gabby Heinen led the Raiders in assists with seven while teammate Steph Hallada had four kills and three assists. Amber Siebold had a team-high five digs for Two Rivers.

Manitowoc Lincoln 3, Green Bay Preble 2

In a battle of two teams previously undefeated in the Fox River Classic Conference, Lincoln earned the road win by scored of 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18 and 15-12.

Lincoln (9-3, 4-0 FRCC) was led by Katherine Wolowicz who had 16 kills, 14 digs and two service aces while teammate Meg Wolowicz had 14 kills and nine solo blocks. Also for the Ships, Stephanie Winans had 10 kills and four solo blocks, Brittany Youngchild had 30 digs, Alyssa Fischer had 14 digs and Mallory Dixon had 58 assists.

“(Katherine Wolowicz) played amazing,” Lincoln coach Mary Beth Dixon said. “(The win) was a total team effort, a very team-oriented win.”

Sheboygan Fall 3, Kiel 2

Trailing 2-0, Kiel rallied to tie it up at 2-2 before dropping the final game. The game scores were 25-9, 25-18, 22-25, 21-25 and 15-12.

The host Raiders were led by Brooke Geohring who had 13 attack kills, 14 digs, and six serve aces. Also for Kiel, Kellie Kohlmann had 15 digs and Harmony Wusterbarth added 15 kills, and 23 digs.


Valders finished fifth out of eight teams despite dropping all of its matchups.

The Vikings began by winning the first game against Octonto Falls 25-23 before falling in the next two by socres of 25-20 and 15-8.

Then, against Franklin, Valders fell by scores of 25-8 and 25-18.

Facing Kewaunee, the Vikings fell 25-21, 25-22 and against Peshtigo fell 25-18, 25-23.

This set up a rematch with Kewaunee which Valders fell in by scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Brittany Erickson led the Vikings with 60 assists, 22 points served, 13 digs, and four block assists while teammate Kristin Buchanan had 19 kills and five solo blocks. Also for Valders, Lauren Brandl had 31 points served.

The Vikings next will play at Manitowoc Lutheran on Thursday.
