Luke Schafer is an 11-year-old sixth grader from Williamston and attends Williamston Middle School. Luke is an avid golfer and was golfing in his fourth Meijer Tournament this summer that was played at Stonebridge Golf Course in Ann Arbor and had his first hole-in-one. It was at the No. 12 par 3. He used a seven-iron from 126 yards, it landed about a yard short of the pin and rolled in. The tournament directors were watching and they recognized him at the end of the tournament, in which he shot an 87.
