Winnebago Lutheran scored in 41 seconds in a 10-2 offensive outburst against Ripon at the Fondy Soccer Complex Tuesday to win the nonconference game.
Jacob Schraufnagel scored at 41 seconds on a direct kick from outside the left side of the box. Aaron Markgraf assisted on the play.
Sam Busse and Markgraf scored other first-half goals for WLA as it led 3-1 at the break.
Richie Schultz scored two goals in the second half for the Vikings. Markgraf and Schraufnagel scored again, and Jeran Huey, Jeremy Soto and Robin Yoon also all scored in the second half.
WLA, which outshot Ripon, 21-4, is 13-5-3 overall.
“Our second group got to play a lot of minutes and they really played hard and put some goals in, which was neat to see,” said WLA coach David Haag. “Hopefully, we can finish strong against Kettle Morraine Lutheran on Thursday and have some momentum into the playoffs.”
Neenah 5, Fondy 1
Fond du Lac scored first, but the visiting Cardinals could not prevent Neenah from another Fox Valley Association championship.
Brennan Davies put Fondy (5-3-1 FVA) in the lead 4:05 into the match with a lofted shot over the keeper. Neenah tied the game on a corner kick in the 22nd minute, but the game remained 1-1 to halftime.
The Rockets (8-1) dominated the second half, scoring four times.
“The second half was a disaster, we gave up a second goal and then panicked a little, and started playing long ball and got out of our
game,” said Fondy coach Glen McBride.
Campbellsport 4, Kiel 0
The Cougars got two early goals from Joe Casper in a shutout win at home.
Ty Danielson recorded just four saves against Winless Kiel (0-13).
Campbellsport goes to 10-13 overall, 7-6 in the EWC.
New Holstein 2
The visiting Huskies scored the first two goals, but it was the Indians who earned the win 3 minutes into overtime.
Nathan Schmitz and Jacob Conrad scored for New Holstein. Martin Baguet had the final two goals for Kewaskum.

The visiting Falcons earned the EWC title win the win.

NF/O goalie Kalen Montsma stopped six shots for the visitors.
Marian 2, Edgewood 1
The Sabres got goals from Nate Peltonen and Everett Zank in a victory in Fond du Lac.
Zank and David Reinke registered assists for the Sabres (1-6-4, 1-3-2). Bryce Woldt made seven saves for Marian.
