Lexi Herrewig graduated from Winnebago Lutheran with several Vikings’ soccer records and her team went unbeaten in the Wisconsin Flyway Conference this spring. The midfielder was a first-team all-conference selection in both her sophomore and junior seasons.
As a senior, Herrewig was chosen unanimously by league coaches for the first for this season’s all-conference first team. Herrewig was also named the league’s Player of the Year.
Joining Herrewig on the first team from WLA was Aimee Liebzeit, also a repeat first-team pick.
Springs was third in the league behind Kettle Moraine Lutheran. The Ledgers had one first-teamer, Sami Jo Blank.
Lomira was represented on the first team by Allison Neitzel and Savannah Borges. Neitzel, a senior, was one of three unanimous selections on the first team with the other being KML’s Cassidy Page. Neitzel repeated as a first-team selection.
The only other area player to make the first team was Mayville junior Chelsey Turk.
