Woodmore’s Matt Zatko parlayed medalist honors at the Northern Buckeye Conference Tournament last week into a third-place finish at the Edison Invitational on Monday.
Zatko fired a 78 at Sawmill Creek as Woodmore’s boys golf team finished two strokes back of Olmsted Falls at 338 to finish second as a team Monday.
Clyde’s Garret Rupert was the overall medalist with a round of 5-over par 76 for the Fliers who finished six at 349.
The wind was a factor for the field Monday.
Zatko earned medalist honors at 78 at the NBC Tournament last week.
Ty Burner carded an 80 on Monday as Woodmore played without Mikayla Baer, who will participat in the girls sectional today.
Thomas Pressler’s round of 13-over 84, paced Bellevue, which finished eighth with a team total of 351. Dylan DeWitt fired an 87 for the Redmen, while Isaac Hartley and Ryan Wilburn each carded 90s.
Margaretta shot 374 and Oak Harbor 411 on Monday.
